Mangia Pizzaria,  often referred to as Mangia's, is a pizzaria on Main Street in Allegany.

They sell pizzas, wings, calzones, garlic bread and knots, and sandwiches.

The average price of a pizza is $18 and the rest of the menu varies from $3 garlic knots to $27.25 for three dozen wings and everything in between.

Currently, the restaurant has five tables with booth and chair seating. It also has a bathroom.

Kevin Henzel started Mangia's in 2002 after coming home from film school. He said his buddy picked him up from the airport, told him of the opportunity and he created the pizzeria.

This past year, the name changed from Mangia Pizzaria to Graffiti's. Henzel says this change was made to spark the economy. Recently, the pizzeria went back to its roots, being called Mangia Pizzaria 2.0 when Henzel bought out his partner.

Henzel has since exchanged some dishes from the menu for others with the main goal to simplify.

The name Mangia comes from an Italian command meaning come eat. Henzel remembers his mother and grandfather saying this to him when he was a boy.

Mangia 2.0 does not risk offering gluten-free items, however they now offer a healthier alternative to the dough. Honey whole wheat dough can be substituted on any pizza.

Henzel says the pizza is the main draw for customers. Mangia Pizzaria makes their own dough and their own sauce in house.

The pizzeria delivers as well. Henzel points out the delivery fee is the tip because the drivers drive their own cars to deliveries.

Henzel says the most popular menu item is their lunch special pizza, a 12-inch pizza for $6. He also thanks the loyal customers from town for their continual business.

In the upcoming month, Henzel plans on remodeling the inside of Mangia 2.0. He plans to extend the dining room further back to give customers a larger area to eat. This way, the customers are more comfortable and he is able to get more people in the door.
