Fyre 'N Ice combines pizza and ice cream into one restaruant.

Their pizzas range from $6.50 to $20. Ice cream starts at $3 and increases depending on the toppings.

They are looking into getting delivery once they have worked out the kinks in the restaurant.

Gluten free options are available.

There are plenty of tables for customers.

Gregg Prockton and Steve Hamed, owners of Fyre 'N Ice didn't know what was in store for them when they took a training class on Staten Island. They had just bought the old Fox's Pizza and with their Italian-made oven, they wanted to understand fully how to use it.

"It was life-changing," Prockton said of the class. They learned not only how to make pizzas in the oven, but the recipes of the sauces on the pizzas. Prockton said he modified these recipes to create the unique Fyre 'N Ice sauces.

Prockton bought Ice Cream Island, a business down the street with the plan of gutting it and making it into his office. As a CPA, he focused on helping others with their business endeavors and until recently had kept that the extent of his business experience.

He decided he would combine his three favorite things: pizza, chicken wings and ice cream.

Fyre 'N Ice features ice cream from Ice Cream Island and home-made pizzas, fully capturing its name.

Prockton said a lot of work was put into the business early to allow for growth. The logo, website, decor, business model are all easily transferable to another location if they choose to spread.

After opening March 13, Fyre 'N Ice has seen an incredible showing of support. Prockton said his projections were blown out of the water and he is so grateful for all of the supportive customers not only testing out the new restaurant but returning.

Fyre 'N Ice is continuing to learn, through its first month of being open, Prockton said they have run into a lot of things that need to be smoothed out.

While they serve regular pizzas, Prockton said his favorite pizzas are the dessert pizzas. Prockton came up with their most recent dessert pie, the strawberry cheesecake dessert pie. It is made with cheesecake filling on the dough, layered with fresh strawberries, covered in ice cream and drizzled with different types of syrup.

Prockton said he likes the area because it is a good place to raise a family. He loves the safety and the ease of transportation.

He hopes everyone who comes into Fyre 'N Ice feels like family and is treated as such.
