The menu includes vegan and gluten free options.

Four Mile Brewing is housed in the previous Olean Brewing Company which originated in 1907, but was shut down due to prohibition. After housing other businesses, and a span of being unused, Four Mile will bring the building back to its original purpose as a brewery.

Founders of Four Mile, Nicholas Bohdanoqycz, Jaye Beattie, Craig Clark and Gregg Piechota all joined forces when they decided to get in on the booming craft beer industry. Their goal was to boost the economy of Olean and get the community involved.

Brewers Craig and Gregg already had a mock brewery in their basements in Olean and have been able to use their skills and creativity to come up with Four Mile's signature craft beer flavors.

The brewery is in full view from the sitting area of the restaurant and patrons can watch the process from start to finish. The extra beer made that doesn't go on tap or in the refrigerator for storage is sent to distributors and other bars to help spread the Four Mile brand.

Four Mile's main principles include having a positive synergy with the area, amazing beer and providing great customer service.

With the brewery as a given, it was decided upon to add food to the business. All of the ingredients used in the dishes are made by hand and take copious amounts of prep time by their cook. To further support the community, all greens served in Four Mile come from Canticle Farm. Canticle Farm is a community-supported agriculture farm run by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.

Each Friday, Four Mile hosts live music. In the warmer months, musicians can also be heard in the outside beer garden. The beer garden is equipped with fire pits and picnic seating; lawn games are coming soon.

Four Mile Brewing Company celebrates its 2nd year anniversary May 2017. The brewery/restaurant has expanded its menu as well as its location in those past two years, and intends on doing more.

The property boasts two buildings, one used as the restaurant/brewery and the other used as storage and a space for promotions. Plans are to expand the brewery into the next building and to add a kayak rental to the back of it.
